Dr. Rachel Bixler is originally from Lexington.
She attended Morehead State University for undergrad where she received her Bachelor's of Veterinary Science. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2023. After graduation, she returned to the bluegrass state to begin her lifelong dream of practicing small animal medicine.
Dr. Bixler has a soft spot for rescue animals and loves to foster shelter pets whenever she can. She has two rescue pets, her sweet dog, Kylie, and her mischievous cat, Vincenzo.
In her free time, she loves spending time with friends and family or curling up with a good book.
